Carved with Love: the Genius of British Woodwork is a fascinating BBC Four documentary about Thomas Chippendale which Jonathan Sainsbury contributed to. The programme gives a wonderful insight into the life and work of the great 18th century woodcarver who is a source of inspiration for much of Jonathan’s work. The programme was filmed inside some of Britain’s most opulent stately homes such as Nostell Priory and Harewood House.
